EADI, the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes, is the leading European network in the field of development research and training.
EADI is a Europe-wide network of institutes, researchers and students of various disciplines in the field of development studies. it organises activities and offers facilities for the international exchange of knowledge and experience in the professional field. Its most prominent activity is a General Conference devoted to a topical issue every three years. The official languages of EADI are English and French.
EADI is a proud partner of the Bridge 47 project, and strongly supports the project's efforts to mobilise and empower global civil society to contribute to global justice and eradication of poverty through Global Citizenship Education
Knowledge Exchange Partnerships
EADI takes the leading role in the work on Knowledge Exchange Partnerships which serve to ensure a free flow of information and best practices between research institutions and civil society organisations. We do this by building new and strengthening existing partnerships.
With a series of events, workshops and conferences over the next years, we are contributing to bridge gaps between civil society organisations and academia. The regional Knowledge Exchange Partnerships in Spain/Portugal, Nordic countries and Southern/Eastern Europe will be open to interested civil society organisations and academic institutions.
