The International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS) is a network of organisations and individuals involved in Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship across Scotland.
IDEAS have two staff members working in the Bridge 47 project.
IDEAS is the leading organisation on Advocacy in the project. Bridge 47 wants to ensure that the essential role of Global Citizenship Education in delivering the Sustainable Development Goals is reflected in UN, European and national policies and plans.
Bridge 47 is actively involved in advocacy work on Global Citizenship Education in Scotland. In addition IDEAS works to create new types of partnerships for Global Citizenship Education in Scotland and organises events and trainings.

In July SDG 4 (‘Quality Education’) will be reviewed at HLPF. Bridge 47 will be present with events and activities to ensure that Target 4.7 is not overlooked.
