Virtual discussion: Underpinning the role of the European Education Area in supporting Europe to achieve Agenda 2030
How can the European Education Area help Europe on its path to achieve Agenda 2030? What steps should Europe take to further strengthen the role of education in bringing about more just, inclusive and sustainable futures in Europe and beyond?
Hosted by Dace Melbārde (MEP, ECR) and Michaela Šojdrová (MEP, PPE), this multi-stakeholder event invites European Union policy and decision makers, education researchers and experts and relevant civil society representatives, to discuss the role of education in achieving Agenda 2030.
The online event will include a panel exchange and an open discussion on the topic of the European Education Area, including the most recent initiatives and updates on legislative and other processes within the European Parliament and elsewhere, all viewed through the lens of sustainable development and Agenda 2030.
