In January participants from all over Northern Europe met in Stirling, Scotland, for the first knowledge exchange partnership meeting. The title of the second meeting is "Inequalities and Solidarity: The role of Critical Global Citizenship Education (GCE) in responding glocally to marginalisation in the Global North", and it will take place online on June 17-19.

The seminar will bring together practitioners and researchers for three half-day events to explore the role of GCE in the Global North. In the context of the pandemic and following discussions in Stirling, the focus of the second seminar will be on the theme of Solidarity and the following three areas will be explored:

a) how crises must renew emphasis on addressing inequalities
b) the need to effectively integrate social and ecological justice concerns
c) and the need to instil hope and possibilities for alternative futures

We retain an emphasis on developing ways of working that reflect the ethos of critical GCE in strengthening the links between research/policy/practice through collective praxis, but also on how we be, know, and act together.
