Are you working in the area of Global Citizenship Education? Do you think that education can change the world around you for the better? If your answer is yes, Bridge 47 welcomes you to participate in this webinar.

Good teachers are a necessary prerequisite for any quality education to take place, irrespective of the level of teaching. This is true regardless of the age of the learner. Good teachers are the key. The challenge is immense, as we see a lack of qualified teachers in so many places in the world, both North and South. It is a very complex question: How can we best recruit enough teachers, and how do we help them become really good at what they do?

Haldis Holst is the Deputy General Secretary of Education International and she will argue during this webinar why it is not enough to fund teacher training, or to make the field more attractive. You can already read an interview with her on this topic here.

The webinar will take place on 25th February, 15:00-16:00 CET. Register here.

The webinar is co-organized between Bridge 47, the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) and the Journal Adult Education and Development by DVV-International.

The webinar is free of charge and open for everyone. We invite all of you to actively participate with reflections and comments!
